TALES FROM THE WOODS Presents At THE SPICE OF LIFE
SUNDAY 21st JANUARY 2018

THE GALLERYS

The Gallerys are a young trio, who are heavily influenced by the sounds of rock music golden age,
from Who, Small Faces, Beatles through to Oasis in the nineties, however they are not slavish copyists, they are definitely not
a tribute act, they are very much their own band, writing their own punchy well-constructed songs, I witnessed them live at
the Big O festival in Orpington back in July & were duly impressed, since that time they have supported "Madness" at Detling
festival in Kent, catch them while you can - they're going to be huge.
Sunday 21st January 2018, Spice Of Life, Doors 7pm 1030pm finish
Ticket details will be announced soon.

TALES FROM THE WOODS Presents At THE SPICE OF LIFE
SUNDAY 28th JANUARY 2018

SKIFFLE - THE LAST HURRAH

Sunday January 28th at Spice Of Life Soho, we are holding a "Last Hurrah For Skiffle"
12 years ago Tales From The Woods began its live music events career with a celebration of Skiffle at Water-Rats
Theatre Bar, Kings Cross, which as many of you will recall who were there proved to be a hugely successful event, sadly since then
we have sadly lost too many of the performers who graced that stage, hence the need to show our respect to the survivors
of this uniquely British take on American roots music, with one last, not to be missed, London show at this wonderful intimate
venue with perfect sound, visibility & plenty of seating availability, just a short walk from Skiffle birthplace 2is Coffee Bar, Old Compton Street Soho.
Featuring
Peter Donegan, Chas McDevitt, Allan Bailey, City Ramblers Revival
Tales From The Woods Band
Darren 'Cast Iron' Vidler will be performing a tribute to Rick Hardy
Expect a few surprise guests too. Ticket details will be announced soon.

TALES FROM THE WOODS THURSDAY CLUB AND SUNDAY CLUB
Our Thursday Club events are social outings held on a weekday (usually Thursday as the name implies, but where the situation demands,
on other days of the week) where you can meet up with fellow Woodies. It may be a visit to a museum or a stately home, a walk in the countryside
or a visit to an urban nature reserve, or a pub crawl. We may start off or end the day in a reasonably priced eating house.
We also arrange weekend outings - usually on Sundays - to places of interest or special events.

Events are usually in London or the surrounding areas but we are open to suggestions for other destinations.
